Jeremy to Ocean a year or so ago: "Didn't mommy tell you to stay in the car? You're being disobedient."
Ocean: "I know. But she only said it once, not a hundred times."
Ocean's reasoning as to why it's ok to be disobedient. And also very illustrative of how all the kiddos think: If they didn't yell about it, it's optional.
