Ocean decided that Devils Tower looked like a volcano, so that's what he called it. Either that or he latched onto the information that it was formed by an uprising of lava in a volcano that never erupted.
In any case, he doesn't say volcano, he says volkeeno. The day after we visited Devils Tower, he asked: "Where's the volkeeno?"
He's talked about it several times while we were traveling and since we arrived home, and it's always "the volkeeno." 😊
