On a recent Sunday morning, Mr M was at drill for the weekend, so I was getting the kiddos ready on my own. I got Ocean ready to go, then started to get myself dressed. While I was getting dressed, I heard the kitchen door slam. It took me a minute, and then I realized that Ocean must have escaped outdoors. I ran downstairs (with clothes on!) and found that Ocean had indeed gone outside, and had made a beeline for the nearest mud puddle. Clearly he had fun in that mud puddle. I was just glad I had extra clean Sunday clothes to quickly change him into.
