Since finishing the beds and rearranging the sleeping situation, the boys are now sharing a room. I'm not sure if getting away from Ocean is a contributing factor, or if River just does it because he can (he couldn't before because we were storing something under his bed). In any case, on more than one occasion I have found him either sleeping or hiding under his bed. It freaked me out the first time I went into their room and couldn't find him in his bed, but it didn't take long to find him and now anytime I can't find him it's one of the first places I look.
Personally, I don't think it would be that comfortable- the rug isn't very thick :)
