My first thought was 'Aahh man, I just bought snow pants and snow boots for us. That figures...'

However, we won't be moving there, since he didn't get the job- turns out the company with the opening already had someone in mind when they posted the opening. Pretty rude, if you ask me.
Mr. M is working with a contracting company that helps fill open positions for companies needing specialized help. The contracting company got all Mr. M's info together and took it to the company with the opening, and they said 'we don't want him, it'll take too long to get his xxxx' (part of his clearance). When Mr. M heard this, he told the contracting company 'it won't take more than 2-3 days max to get it, I just have to talk to my unit'. So they went back to the company with the opening and after them going 'uh..., um....., well.....' for awhile, they finally admitted they already had someone in mind. They couldn't have just said that to begin with?

So, the contracting company is looking at some other job openings, and hopefully one of them will go through quickly. In the meantime, we're still working on being patient.
