LMS has been very good lately about making sure we have fresh flowers in the house. I thought it was because she appreciated pretty flowers.
The other night I found out the real reason she makes sure we keep buying flowers.
We put most of a can of Sierra Mist Natural in the vase with the flowers to prolong their life, but we each get a swallow too. Apparently she really looks forward to that sip of soda.
Even though it's got regular sugar instead of corn syrup, it's still a lot of refined sugar. We've managed to cut out most of the refined sugar in our diet, so the affect of even a few swallows is quite noticeable. She gets very cranky, though she denies it :)
